Skills: Swordfighting, evocation type magic (fire and water magic, in addition to base energy/force magic) survival skills, speaks English, Lupine, Fae. Can also perform thaumaturgy type ritual spells though they're slower than other wizards.

Pyrus: Causes fire to shoot from his hand, either in a ball or a stream.
Adranus: Creates water controlled by Jason's will.
Frigor: Can reach out to the heat in an area and either increase it or decrease it exponentially.
Pulsus: Uses raw force or kinetic energy to create an invisible pulse of energy to push back enemies.
Mehrenos: Healing spell; mends bones and knits skin enough to dull the pain and speed up healing.

Background: Born to a family of villagers in the world of Ignis, Jason's world was one of laughter, work, and a loving home. His father, a soldier in the army who had served his term, brought his family to one of the settlements in Ignis, hoping to start a new life. For the first ten years of his life, he knew nothing of the world beyond the village (save for stories of monsters that raided towns) and the love of his family. His father, wanting his son prepared for the dangers of the world, taught the boy when he was able how to fight, both unarmed and with a sword. Then, on his twelfth birthday, Jason's world was shattered. A clan of raiding Basilisks sacked the town, killing many of the inhabitants, his mother and father included. Only he and his little sister, Agatha, were all that was left, running from the burning town. But they did not get far before an arrow from one of the raiders soared from the town and struck Agatha, killing her. Alone, terrified, and having seen his own sister die before him, Jason ran. Whether they didn't see him or simply wanted to let the coward flee, he never knew, but the raiders did not pursue. In time, he reached the nearby gate to Elementorum, and soon found himself in a safer world. A year went by, and he lived as a street urchin in the city of Gemini. One day, he pickpocketed the wrong person, a wizard by the name of Septimus Oran. Instead of handing him over to the city guards, the wizard sensed potential in the boy, and instead brought him to the academy as a personal assistant and student. Thirteen years later, Jason, now an experienced user of magic and of the sword, left the academy and his adopted father, seeking a life of his own. He made a name for himself as a bounty hunter in the following year, slaying both criminals and monsters as he traveled between worlds. Due to the loss of his home and family, he harbors a deep hatred for Basilisks, on par with racism.

Equipment: Bow and quiver of arrows, steel dagger (shortsword later on) and a hunting spear. Leather armor.

Skills: Taught how to hunt since she was little, Onokei is a skilled hunter, and excels at remaining unseen when she stalks a target. When it comes to a fight, her skill in battle is equal to her skill as a hunter, able to take down opponents quickly. Before the end of her tribe, she was taught in herbal medicine, and knows how to create healing medicines out of various plants, or how to tell which plants have the right properties needed.

Background: Onokei was born into the Yeres pack, and ever since she was a child she was raised, cared for, and taught by the pack. She held nothing but devotion to her family, willing to lay down her life if it meant ensuring their safety. But then her pack was destroyed, by something sinister, agents of shadowy group that operated behind the curtain. Before she died, the Alpha Female of the Yeres pack made the human Jason Blackthorne swear that he would protect the last of the Yeres, and find another Lupine tribe for her to live in. Onokei however, has a different plan in mind; forcing the human under threat of death, she made him agree to help her find the people who butchered her tribe. Now, she travels with Jason as she hunts for prey, not knowing that she hunts for something larger than either of them ever hoped to imagine.
