Background:
Born to a human father and Lupine mother, her life was ok at first. She was taught how to use a knife, some magic, and finally a bow and shortsword. For sixteen years she was brought up as part of the Pack. But when she turned sixteen, that all changed.
She never got along with the Alpha’s son and his friends. They were arrogant pricks, the lot. A group of four, they kinda threw their weight around when the elders were not around. It was not fun for anyone, when they started hating her father, just because he wasn’t a Lupine.
She was one of the few who stood up to them, and was always in trouble...but she continually thwarted their plans for bullying, sometimes even getting them in major trouble. Needless to say, the boys decided to get rid of her. In a way that...was horrible.
They desecrated a priestess tent, then left Asuka’s knife behind.
Expelled, she was given a day to leave. Her parents wanted to go with her, but she left during the night, not wanting her parents to be in danger because of her.
So, she began to walk, trying her best to survive on her own...and secretly plotting her revenge against those who ruined her life. She’s been traveling for one year now, barely surviving off of hunting and odd jobs.
And her own determination to clear her name.
Asuka was recently taken captive by a group of slavers and brutalized, becoming submissive out of the need to survive. She was horribly degraded, nearly raped, and finally became obediant. Just to survive.

History:
Born as the second child, a direct twin to her sister Athene, the twins were very close. Throughought their childhood, Altria always protected her sister from everything, and when the time came on their 14th birthday, to choose who would become the heir to the throne, Altria did something surprising.
My dear sister. With these witnessed, I cast aside the right to rule. My place has always been your side, sister, making sure you were safe. Now you are no longer if need of me. I will go and find those who need a guardian angel, but do not feel sad. When you need me, I will return, dearest sister. The bond of twin's love shall never be broken. This bond will return me to your side, and if the gods decree, I swear I will not be alone.
Parting ways with her family, Altria left as her sister gifted her with one of Fortes' greatest weapons - Holy Sword Excalibur. Wielding this mighty blade, she has trained under many Archmages in many forms of magical combat. While spellswords are not masters of either swords or magic, Altria is one of the rare breeds who come close.
A rising star in the Blades of Valor, Altria is known as Altria Pendragon, the Bringer of Heaven's Fire.

History:
Her life diverted when Altria left. After gifting Holy Sword Excalibur upon her sister, Athene began being pampered.
So, she literally kicked her lead stylist in the face, marched down to the guard barracks, and demanded to be taught how to fight.
I am not going to be a damsel in distress. I refuse to be a damsel.
So she was taught, and in return was still proper when needed. But the castle knows that, when not in a royal function, she is more relaxed. She is a bit more outgoing, and has a fascination with other races. She finds Lupine have a rare feral beauty, she adores Sidhe and their wings, hates how ugly Basilisks are, and otherwise is uninterested with others.

Athene has been trained in magic as well, and while not a very powerful mage, she herself has thwarted assassination attempts on herself and others. She has never needed Altria by her side, but as the darkness rises, her heart secretly calls to her dearest sister.
